Pueblo’s Cade Bleeker had another great night on the mound for the Spearfish Sasquatch, as they picked up the 15-5 win over the Hastings Sodbusters. On the day following his 20th birthday, Bleeker got the start and was absolutely spectacular. He pitched 5 innings, allowed just 1 run, gave up only 3 hits, and struck out 3, as he picked up the win. Here are all 3 of Bleeker’s strike 3 pitches.

Pueblos’ Cade Bleeker was brought into last night’s game with the Spearfish Sasquatch down 2 runs to the Casper Spuds with 2 outs in the 7th inning in a bases loaded jam. Bleeker responded with the poise and confidence you want to see in a pitcher as he struck out the first batter he faced, ending the inning and keeping the Sasquatch in the game. While Casper got the win, in his second outing in the 1st three games of the season, it is clear Spearfish has something special in their bullpen.

An RMAC duo helped the Casper Spuds get a 12-6 win over the Spearfish Sasquatch last night, as collegiate summer league play is officially underway. ⚾️ UCCS’ Jason Fink got the opening day start and win with an impressive 6 innings of work, during which he allowed only 1 earned run on just 4 hits, while striking out 8!!! ⚾️ Notably, the Spuds’ catcher was CO Christian’s Cole Douglass. Douglass was not only great behind the plate, but he also had a game with his bat. For the night, Douglass was 3 for 4 with an RBI and 2 runs. Allegedly, Douglass also had a stolen base. However, due to some opening day technical difficulties, video confirmation of such feat does not exist. Sorry Cole, I’m going to have to see it to believe it. 😊 ⚾️ A bright spot for the Spearfish Sasquatch was Pueblo’s Cade Bleeker, who pitched 3.1 SCORELESS innings, issued 0 walks, and struck out 3!!
