#oklaed A6: we need to have open and honest conversations with students about the injustices that are occurring, have empathy, and make our classrooms inclusive environments for all.

#oklaed A3: I hope to be responsive as well as empathetic in my future classroom. I want my students to know they matter.

#oklaed A2: we have to be aware of the things students may be facing, validate students’ feelings, and respond to their needs and help them grow.

#oklaed A1: I don’t have a classroom of my own yet, but I plan on taking the time to get to know my students and giving them a safe place to share their stories.
