Henrietta finally woke from hibernation and was released on Thursday. She went out (at 985g) to a supported site at a local allotment area. Happy foraging Henrietta! #hedgehog #wildlife #release #conservation #allotment

Clifford was admitted on 17/4, 884g. Unfortunately, a dog had picked him up causing 4 puncture wounds. Luckily, the finder knew to get Cliff checked over. He's making good progress (now 941g) & is also receiving treatment for ringworm. #hedgehog #dogs #wildlife #conservation

The lovely Harriet made a swift recovery and we were able to release her on Tuesday. She went out at 755g to a large garden, bordering woodland and a wetland area. Good luck Harriet! #hedgehog #wildlife #conservation #Harriet

Thomas was brought to us on 10/4 (958g) after wandering into the finder's house during the day! He was a little dehydrated and roundworm has been detected. His treatment plan is underway and he's currently 1017g. #hedgehog #rescue #wildlife #Thomas #conservation

A little update on Emily. She went back to the vet last week where her wounds were debrided and cleaned. She's also nearly finished her meds for ringworm & roundworm. Now 891g & a real cutie! #hedgehog #Emily #progress #wildlife #conservation

Axel came in on 4/4, 430g. He was found out in the day in one of our support release gardens. Treatment for roundworm and lungworm is now underway. Axel is making good progress and is now over 540g. #hedgehog #Axel #wildlife #conservation

Following successful treatment, Robbie checked out at 1268g! He went out to a new release site with a covered nestbox and natural feed station - the owner is keen to encourage lots of wildlife. Have a wild time in your new home Robbie! #hedgehog #wildlife #conservation #wild

Dan was rescued on 5/4, 657g, from a street drain he had got trapped in. Luckily, our lead carer was able to free him. Dan was understandably stressed & his nails were worn down from him trying to get out. He's receiving tlc and treatment from us & is now 710g. #hedgehog #Dan

Percy is making good progress - he's now over 450g. He's having some garden exercise and hydrotherapy to help with his movement and his ringworm is nearly all gone! Way to go Percy! #hedgehog #hedgehogs #wildlife #percy #conservation

Emily, 787g, came in on 31/3 after being found tangled in football netting. She has wounds under both front arms which are being cared for & treatment is underway for ringworm & roundworm. * PLEASE KEEP ANY NETTING OFF THE GROUND SO WILDLIFE DOESN'T GET TANGLED IN IT * #hedgehog

Remi recently had a short stay with us. This poor chap was found trapped in a footings hole on a building site! After being monitored for a few days, he was released at 992g to a support garden with lots of wooded areas to explore. #hedgehog #wildlife #wildanimals

Bramble, 700g, came in for a short stay on 31/3 (found tangled up in some brambles early afternoon). She was a little dehydrated & was treated for ringworm. Also quite round, possibly pregnant. She was released back to the finder at 914g. #hedgehog #wildanimals #conservation

Harriet came to us on 28/3, at 424g, found trying to cross a busy road. Roundworm and lungworm have been detected so a treatment plan is underway for her. She's progressing well and is now 457g. #hedgehog #wildlife #conservation #Harriet

Percy came in on 17/3 - unfortunately the finder had kept him without seeking help. He had ringworm, cuts & swellings, was underweight & dehydrated and smelt of urine. He was warmed & medication/fluids provided. Baths also given. He's making steady progress. #hedgehog #percy

The rather large Robbie (1140g!) came in on 16/3. He was discovered out in the day. After a check over from the vet, he was found to have a wound on his elbow & soft tissue damage. Treatment is underway for ringworm & capillaria. #hedgehog #wildlife #conservation

Alun finally went on his way on Monday. Healthy and a good weight (816g), he went to one of our support gardens where a nest box was waiting for him. Happy exploring Alun! #hedgehog #wildlife #release #conservation

Lucky was rescued last Friday, out in the day, weighing 622g. An older hog with paler pigmentation, she was very cold, dehydrated, emaciated & had some fleas. Treatment is underway for roundworm & she's slowly gaining weight. #hedgehog #wildlife #conservation

Sol came to us on 2/3 sounding very chesty (possibly pneumonia). He is currently being nebulised daily to help with his breathing and is also receiving antibiotics and pain relief. He's eating well and is now over 900g. #hedgehog #wildlife #Conservation
