‼️ Ukraine’s Fire Point company says it is moving to the next stage of testing its new FP-7 ballistic missile, including test strikes against targets in Russia. Chief designer of Fire Point company Denys Shtilierman @DenShtilierman on the FP-7 ballistic missile: ▪️ FP-7 is an analog of the American ATACMS missile, but costs about half as much; ▪️ Range: up to 300 km, depending on the weight of the warhead; ▪️ The missile, based on the 48N6 used in the S-400 air defense system, features a modernized airframe and new electronics; ▪️ The launcher is simplified and built on a standard trailer, allowing for quick launches and easier concealment of the system; ▪️ Fire Point manufactures all components itself - from engines to the flight controller - while the warhead is manufactured externally on order; ▪️ Production begins even before official codification in order to avoid delays in the number of units produced. The company is also developing a new FP-9 ballistic missile with a range of up to 850 km, which would allow Ukraine to strike targets inside Russia that were previously out of reach. 📹: Channel 24
