It was great to be at the @OssiningChamber Candidate Forum last night, which centered on the challenges small businesses are facing right now. Thank you to Hudson Valley Books for Humanity for hosting and all you do in our community! It was an incredible turnout, and I loved getting to talk with so many of you afterward about everything from how hard it is for small businesses to afford healthcare, to AI ethics and accountability, to taking on corruption in Washington. As we gear up for the primary, I am grateful for conversations like these and ready to fight for our small businesses and our communities here at home.

Thank you to the teachers in NY-17 and across the country who go above and beyond to open doors and create real opportunities for their students. Teaching matters, and it carries a kind of responsibility that shapes not just individual lives, but the future of our communities. But that responsibility shouldn’t fall on teachers alone; it must belong to all of us. That means making sure our educators have fair pay, strong union protections, and the resources they need to support their students. As someone who went through Hudson Valley public schools, I’ve seen firsthand the impact great teachers and schools can have. That’s why I’m proud to be endorsed by @nysut and to stand with our educators in the fight to make sure they have the support and resources they need to help the next generation and our country succeed.

Had such a blast at the Center for Safety & Change’s A Night for Change Gala in Pearl River this weekend. Huge congratulations to the honorees, Linie and Mayor Rand, whose leadership and commitment to service have made a real impact on this community.

Had such a great time at Croton Earth Day! Talking with local leaders about how we can transition to clean energy. In order to make real change, we need to take real steps to protect our environment and our future. And thank you to our incredible volunteers for manning the booth!

Had such a great time at the Epic Free Ossining Family BBQ. Thank you to Gullotta House, Ossining and Briarcliff Rotary, The Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce and others for putting it together. It was amazing to see so many people come together and just enjoy being part of this community. From the incredible food to the petting zoo - just an overall awesome afternoon.
