wanna point out to my ult friends so basically to do this i double jumped, went just far enough i could refresh my double jump with down b(no visual indicator), then cancelled my down b with walljump so i could use the dj at the end :3

I got 4th at Genesis X3 While I feel like I could’ve done way better, nice to know it take a village to zap my vibes from me Also Won dubs so I felt like I redeemed myself from the silver last year First tourney with 2 medals, and a run that secured my spot as a top 10 player

got reverse 3-0'd by ant for 5th place offstream at genesis extremely disappointing to lose when it matters the most but it is what it is we move on

it's incredible how many tournaments find the time to put rivals top 8 on sunday, but for some reason, the tournament that prides itself as being our "circuit finals" has never been able to do top 8. as a community, we have been complaining about this for nearly a decade now

@danfornace just polled the top player discord and got unanimous yes votes

@CakeAssault I got some word that Sunday is not in the theatre this year so a top 8 could be possible. Would you and other top players be willing to get there an hour earlier to get a top 8 instead of a top 6?

@danfornace i think it's time to look into another tournament to be the circuit finals

@CakeAssault Genesis stage time is locked and melee and ult top 8s take a while. We have discussed it in the past with them but it hasn’t made sense for both sides yet. We haven’t considered moving it, but I think we could push for top 8 in the future depending on entrants and budget.

va? or port? or collision? the season doesn't end at the end of the year anyway, so the timing doesn't matter that much. im not expecting genesis to ever give us a top 8 at this point, so now i'm just disappointed that it keeps getting chosen for our circuit finals every year

@yellowcarder 120 refresh monitors are not expensive and are widely available for renting for these events. You are a moron if you think there isn’t a tangible benefit for running on lower latency displays for a fighting game.

I think if Rivals 2 esports is suppose to be prestigious there should be someone who represents aether studios interests the ensure the event is held to a certain standard in terms of setup quality, scheduling and format of how the bracket is ran.

i woke up with The Sickness That Kills You this morning, won't be attending frosty because of it. really sucks bc my goal was to attend every RCS event, and it's the very last one that i'll have to skip out on
