Your share as an American citizen is $115,000. Your household's share is $288,000. Think of it like every family in the country being handed a mortgage they never signed for and can never sell. And it is growing fast. The government is adding $7.2 billion every single day. That is like buying a brand new sports stadium every day entirely on borrowed money. The easiest way to picture the whole thing is this. Imagine you max out your credit card and can only afford to pay the interest every month. The balance never goes down. It just keeps getting bigger. That is exactly what Washington is doing right now, except the credit card has no limit and nobody is cutting it up.
