WHY AREN’T ALL THE SEC. COACHES TALKING ABOUT THIS???? It’s a joke, go look at Indiana, Penn State, Oregon, USC, etc schedules, they are a disgrace compared to the SEC (Ohio & Michigan are included with the SEC in my rant about this bc they have respectable and hard schedules as well). The top teams in the BIG 10 (excluding Ohio & Michigan) have and will continue to get an entire regular season to essentially practice and cakewalk into the playoffs every year, fully healthy and ready to finally compete. Meanwhile, whatever teams in the SEC (Ohio & Michigan) make the playoffs, they will be missing half their starters to injury and the other half playing through gnarly injuries after playing a gauntlet regular season. On top of that, they make the SEC teams who have already played each other play each other again, instead of making Oregon play one of them and the other play JMU or whatever. It’s so ridiculously unbalanced.

@PerfectvillePod At this point I can only assume the knee is worse than we know. No reason he shouldn’t have gone in the 3rd unless there is a decent chance he could have a very short career

@MattInfante That’s fine. Those are the picks that are easier to swallow when rebuilding. Imagine him entering next years draft healthy, that’s basically what they should be getting

Dolphins just made my favorite pick of day 2. And he may not even contribute at all in 2026.

If Jermod McCoy is still on the board at 87, the Dolphins should just do it. At this point, what's the risk?

When quarterbacks targeted Chris Johnson in 2025, they posted a passer rating of 16.1. Johnson picked off four passes, broke up five more and didn't allow a touchdown with just 18 of 43 targets going for completions. He allowed just 2 touchdowns in his career on 870 snaps in coverage. He also led all of college football with 146 INT return yards this year (two pick sixes). He was sent on blitzes 9 times and produced four pressures, including a sack. He made three tackles for loss this year and had a career missed tackle rate of just 5.4%.

@Jason_Sarney @PoupartNFL The fact that they can go with several good players all the way back to 15 or 16 is why I would trade back. Even if it’s for less value than the trade charts show. An extra pick in 2027 is better than nothing and unless they are in love with one player at 11 slide back for a pick

@JamesPalmerTV Very logical argument. But if eagles feel like they are in a win now situation with D and other weapons it’s hard to trade away good talent for future assets. That’s why I think a NE player in return would make sense.

Why wouldn't Howie Roseman prefer the A.J. Brown trade compensation to be for 2027 or 2028? Right now the Patriots are picking 31st in each of the first three rounds. There are certainly people around the NFL that believe New England could be slated for a step back in 2026 for a variety of reasons. Any picks in future drafts are expected to be higher in each round and thus more valuable anyway. Combine that with the fact teams have already started work on the 2027 draft and it is early, but it's considered to have much more talent especially in the first round.

@JRSportscontent @stclaudeii Tate. Feel the floor is much higher and the new regime isn’t going to change the franchise with any individual pick no matter how good they can be but they can keep it the same with the wrong pick. Don’t miss, go with a high floor starter early in the rebuild

@AquaCoralRep @ryanwilsonCBS I think it had anything to do with Miami. It had more to do with finding a trade partner period and CIN was it. Just happened to be in front of Miami

@ryanwilsonCBS Do you feel like the move to get ahead of Miami was for WR? I kinda assumed it's for OL, i guess bc i don't think Sullivan would use his first ever pick on a WR, despite losing Waddle

@OmarKelly Ideally one of the top 5-6 players slips to Miami and they get lucky. If not, a slide back for additional draft compensation and still get Ioane or another player MIA likes is second best option. Trade at that point will be hard though

I didn’t say I don’t like him. Very solid selection. I’ll settle for him at 11 if everything else I want is off the board. He’s going to be a solid pro. Day 1 starter. I want more with pick No. 11. He is what I settle for
