Prediction - "The Hunt for Gollum" will primarily be a character study of Gollum, using Aragorn and Gandalf's search as a framing device to allow us to understand more about his past and current psychology, rather than a focus on the hunt itself. The hunt for Gollum is therefore just as much a hunt for the *real Gollum/Smaegol psychologically, as it is a physical hunt for him in advance of LOTR. Potentially casting a heavyweight actress like Kate Winslet as the woman who casts Smaegol out of his village after he gets the ring shows how important this moment will be to the overall theme of the film.
