Another rainbow for the Calder Vale collection - great team work with this one!

Look at this great sign of Spring! They are being cared for and their growth monitored by one of Willow pupils.

Excellent poster on Bleasdale timber circle - fab piece of home learning.

Willow class have written amazing openings to their E.T. inspired stories. 'Just then, a flash of green and red light caught my eye and it was heading rapidly my way!' 'Suddenly, the high-pitched noise echoed around the countryside setting car alarms off and cats' eyes glow.'

Willow class have worked really hard making templates and cutting out patterns for their cushions.

We have had a fab afternoon working in teams solving STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) relating to fairy tales.

We have loved sharing our book jars and boxes in Willow class today. Some fantastic book talk and recommendations.

Our theme this term is compassion. We have been looking at how we can show compassion at school, home and in the community.

We shared our topic projects this afternoon - amazing cave art and pottery. Really high standard as usual, well done Willow class.

Look at our new playground markings. We have already started using them at playtime and lunchtime. We are also looking forward to using them as part of our learning too.

Look at our lego creation of life in Skara Brae during the Stone Age and our clay replicas of Stone Age tools and equipment.

We have nearly reached the top of our book wall - if you all read a book over half term Willow class we will have to go over the top of the door!

Willow have had a great afternoon painting Stone Age cave art paintings.

We are loving our new reading pod and library!

Great Yoga session this afternoon with Emma from The Yogi Group.

Year 4 loved going on a minibeast hunt and making scientific records of their findings.

We have been busy this last week making bird boxes and insect hotels! We will be adding them to our garden area in the Spring.

£346.50 raised through our Elf Run - a superb amount of money for St John's Hospice. Thank you for all your support.
