To aid their revision Year 13 Health and Social students made kidneys from clay.  The students made the structure of each kidney together with the nephron and labelled them to use as revision aids ahead of their forthcoming exams.

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr Susan Paterson RCVS, she spoke about the varied range of careers working with animals and the skills and qualities needed. She also gave work experience advice to our Y10’s heading out to local veterinary practices. @DrSuePatdermvet

Wow!! The level of thought and detail our Year11 Health & Social Care students have put into their hospital/ care settings is incredible. The brief was; reduces barriers, safe, supports positive communication and promotes rights and person centred care. 👏Featuring @DrAmirKhanGP

Fantastic World Book Day in school today. Wonderful 6th form costume competition for Read for Good. Winners of the "When I was 12..." staff favourite book spotting, and of the form quiz will be announced on Monday. Thanks to pupil librarians Hannah & Ava for planning the quiz!

We have had the Army youth engagement team in school all day today, all the students who took part throughly enjoyed the inflatable assault course and were given valuable information and advice about all the various careers within the British Army. Thank you to the team!
