This is the biggest no brainer with regards to Australian Politics.
All parties: left, right, centre, minor parties, whatever - list goes on: All public expenditure to the finest detail should be available publicly. Updated quarterly. Easy to find, easy to read.
Only exception is items of National Security and similar type items, although a whole number would for these should be still made available without the need for minute details.
What is the valid argument against this?
Should the people of Australia who pay taxes only to have them fund other countries, or "big build" bikie money laundering schemes, just smile and thank their mighty Politicians whilst their taxes are lit on fire, all whilst their taxes continue to climb? Funnily enough at the time they all spruik fixing the "cost of living" crisis
There are clearly not many other solutions to keep Politicians accountable - especially when you consider we just had the Prime Minister of Australia blatantly lie to the Australian people to gain election.
