MPs backing Boris Johnson are using #BorisOrBust in their statements of support. What does bust mean in this context? Are they saying that the only alternative to Johnson is a general election? That the party will go bust unless he is the next PM? That the country will go bust?

@Klamberg It will likely hinge on whether he gets the requisite 100 nominations from Tory MPs. If he does, making it onto the ballot voted on by the membership, then he will almost certainly win.
