Here are my Top 5 performers from #UFC325 1. Quillan Salkilld 2. Mauricio Ruffy 3. Benoit Saint Denis 4. Jonathan Micallef 5. Jacob Malkoun HM to the Featherweight GOAT Volkanovski who looked good, but Lopes looking so poor was the main reason he won in my opinion.

Shavkat Rakhmonov last fought in the UFC on Dec. 7, 2024. He was removed from the welterweight rankings today. Colby Covington last fought on Dec. 14, 2024. He’s still ranked 13th in the welterweight rankings. By this logic, Covington should be off the rankings next week right?

I want to preface, I think Arman should be getting the title shot. But, I understand Dana’s take. Injury or not he put the UFC in a bad spot backing out of UFC 311 and then turned down Gamrot. Beating Hooker in your only fight since UFC 300 shouldn’t guarantee you a title shot.

Am I the only one that doesn’t hate the idea of Volkanovski vs. Lopes 2? Don’t get me wrong, Movsar Evloev and Lerone Murphy are more than deserving of title shots and maybe they should get their shot before this rematch. But when did Diego Lopes suddenly become irrelevant?

If this comes together and gets confirmed, this is the perfect matchup for the Light Heavyweight division. Prochazka has a case to make for a rematch with Pereira, but the way Ulberg has worked his way up the division should take precedence over Jiri and Poatan settling scores.

I see the logic of not giving Garry a title fight quite yet (I personally would) but I feel given his prolonged absence that Shavkat needs one fight before the belt (just like Tsarukyan did). Either Garry or Morales should challenge next and give Shavkat whichever one doesn’t.

I think Waldo Cortes Acosta shook things up in the UFC Heavyweight Division more than people realize. If he fights Dec. 13 and wins vs. whoever, here's how I feel the new year should play out: Run back Aspinall vs. Gane ASAP obviously Volkov vs. Waldo for next shot at the belt
