Dr. McKenzie received the Gregory Cairncross Award for her work on Healthcare Utilization at the end of life by neurodegenerative Movement Disorders patients, a major collaboration between UofA @BrainMDmiyasaki and UofC researchers @DrVeronicaBruno @CaPRI @DCNSNeuro. Congrats!

Dr. Monchi was part of an important collaboration that recognized a brain‐clinical signature to predict conversion of iRBD to some forms of synucleinopathy. This may serve as a new biomarker to improve patient-care, spot-risk reduction strategies, and plan neuroprotective trials.

Prof. Bin Hu is leading the "ACSCON" (Access-Connect) initiative, funded by Alberta Health and to be launched in Calgary in 2021. Health coaches will connect with patients remotely to guide Parkinson's disease home-based rehabilitation with the Ambulosono platform.
