Today, Elizabeth and I celebrate 10 years of marriage! I am beyond blessed to go through the highs and lows of life with her! I thank God for her every day!

@AngelsFaithful Yep. Moms are wonderful and they love their children way more than they can even think. ❤️

One thing I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older and especially with my mom being sick Parents (especially moms) truly appreciate the smallest things I can not begin to tell you how happy my mom was when I simply took her to ihop and she later told me she had so much fun just hanging out with me and and talking to me

@CaliHeather It's Columbus, Ga. The Oxbow River is the Chattahoochee River. The coffee shop is a local one called Fountain City Coffee. I'm not quite sure about other places, as I don't go down there that often. The author is well-known as a musician here already

Finished a book today. Took about 3 weeks to read it. It was alright. May put it in a free little library.

California is cool sometimes

Yesterday felt like 8 million years long. Today is a new day, but a lil stressful.

@inkofreality That’s so cool! I love when things have a connection like that! I was wondering if it was a real town while I was reading it. I thought it was awesome for a debut novel and how the author came up with a complex story.

@CaliHeather That's fair. For me, I'm familiar with the places as Golden is the actual town here, just with a different name. The same for the Oxbow river. He even mentioned my county at one point, the same county where the author lives. Maybe it was just more personal for me.

@inkofreality I mean it was good, but I think I hyped it up in my brain a lot, I saw a bunch of ppl talking about it, so maybe I was super hyped assuming different
