@cosmicectoplasm @mizpyre @oceanspawn07 There’s at least a couple like that for certain, the problem is that finding them is next to impossible because the overwhelming majority simply aren’t like that. Doing this will actually help future articles like that since they won’t be as obscured

@Calibold @mizpyre @oceanspawn07 Is the argument that they have super low ratings because they’re bad or middling? That doesn’t seem to me to necessarily be true, surely at least some of them are simply not particularly popular or known?

I think it’s an incredible example of being too obsessed with SCP that many people can’t see the difference between "the wiki not hosting articles that don’t meet certain requirements" and "literal book burning"

@mizpyre @oceanspawn07 It’s not just about 10kon in fact 10kon is literally just an added benefit the real reason for this is that it’s to help deal with the issue of there being a ton of old articles that no one reads that have super low ratings that just lower the average quality of the wiki

@oceanspawn07 @Calibold Recently the slots for mainlist SCPs in Series 10 have been filling up very quickly to the point that its put pressure on staff to have 10kcon be earlier than planned. A solution to this was proposed by a user who suggested changing the vote threshold of mainlist articles
