@RonFilipkowski How drunk is this ass to post something like that?
English

@_nomadic_soul OK, can you send me the recipe you use? Again, I bake bread often because I enjoy the process. I bake different types - from sourdough starter which takes the longest; no knead overnight; and quick with the help of standing mixer. NONE takes 15 min of actual time.
English

@CaliforniaLiska It was 15 minutes of my actual time!

Here’s an example of my lunch, $0.16 worth of eggs and homemade bread that took maybe 0.40 cents for the whole loaf?? (I already ate over 2 other pieces lol), so let’s say $.25 for lunch. Would pair with a 20c banana but I already ate so much bread oops. I’m the one who eats the least expensive food and my kids eat the most expensive.

l@BIazingBull
@_nomadic_soul You are not feeding your family of 4 for $10 a day lol
English

@3YearLetterman @Franklin_Graham @jamestalarico @BestOfClosets @bennyjohnson @biggreendildo1 Cheating on your spouse is considered successful marriage now days?
English

@anymanfitness I have a teen boy. This would be his snack and then he will want more food. I pack lunches for my entire family every day. It is cheaper than buying lunch; but it is not cheap, and the prices are rising but the salaries are not.
English

@OnlyHearSeeHate @the_satellite23 I’m most certainly in the United States; but in CA where I’m at, we tend to eat much better food. I bought a loaf today for $4; and it will yield 5 sandwiches and 2 heels for soup. But it will also go stale in 2 days because it’s you know, real food.
English

@CaliforniaLiska @the_satellite23 😂 then you haven’t seen bread, either that you’re not really from the United States
English

Loaf of bread = $5
Peanut butter = $4
Jelly = $4
18 pack of chips = $12
Bag of apples = $5
Total = $30
And you'll have lunch for an entire week or two. $2-4 average per day.
Inflation isn't the problem. Your spending habits are.

English

@OnlyHearSeeHate @the_satellite23 What the hell is this ? I have never in my life seen a loaf that is that long. But given that it’s wrapped in plastic I’m guessing it’s some bread like product that has no real ingredients. Loaf I bought today was unsliced because it’s real bread.
English

@CaliforniaLiska @the_satellite23 Do you want to fucking count yourself? I’m not including the ends either.

@laurenboebert Did this one get any underage girl pregnant? If not - it’s a huge win girl.
English

@21milkman @JoelWBerry My point is no, people don’t necessarily want bigger and fancier. We bought a very modest 3 bedroom house with a small yard. It’s just 10 times more expensive. But wages didn’t increase 10 times. The last year and a half has been brutal.
English

@LizzieMarbach Do people in your family not eat or are you only feeding them pasta and rice? My teen boy can easily put away a whole chicken for dinner by himself. I cook pretty much all of our meals. $28 is not enough for a day for a family of 4 if you want good nutrition.
English

$28 bucks can feed my family of four for like three days.
Sean Padraig McCarthy@SeanMcCarthyCom
Lunch just costs $28 now. Are they not supposed to eat?
English

@21milkman @JoelWBerry This is just false. We bought a house last year. It’s a 40 year old house. I can see purchasing history on it. We bought it for 10x the price it was originally sold for. Its no bigger then it was.
English

@JoelWBerry The “food is expensive” dialogue is very much like the “housing is expensively dialogue.
Everyone wants better, bigger, fancier, and more. And they want to do less for it.
And all that costs more, even without inflation.
English

A little-known hack:
2 slices of Aldi wheat bread: $0.17
3 oz of Aldi deli turkey: $0.86
1 slices Aldi cheddar: $0.15
1 condiment of your choice: $0.02
1 apple: $0.53
1 hard boiled egg: $0.14
5 carrot sticks: $0.17
Cold water from the tap: $0.01
Total: $2.05
You can do this.

@StephenKentX I have a 16 year old. He is active and always hungry. I pack his lunches every day. Prices are much higher today then they were 2 years ago, and way more then 8 years ago.
English

Sorry. He's right. No amount of whining will make him wrong. Pack a lunch. Eat a little bit lighter midday. Put that money to work in other places, you'll be amazed.

English

When my husband and I were first married we were dirt poor. For date night we used to go to Costco and split those old wonderful chicken Caesar salads that were $4.
I know things are more expensive now, but they're not that much more expensive. People just feel entitled to spend crazy amounts of money on unnecessary stuff.

@ii_analyze What about butter or oil you cooked it in? Spices? Time you spent cooking it? Also, my 16 year old athletic son eats this as a snack. Not nearly enough food. And yeah, I pack lunches for my family and myself daily. Prices are way up.
English

@the_satellite23 First of, this is unhealthy. Second, it might be enough food for an old grandma or maybe a toddler. Have you ever been or lived with a teenager? My son would eat all this in one sitting at 16 and ask for more.
English

@OnlyHearSeeHate @the_satellite23 Loaf of bread does not yield 10 sandwiches.
English

@the_satellite23 Loaf of bread $3.99 = 10 sandwiches
Lunch meat $7.49 = 9 sandwiches
Mayo $3.99 = 60 sandwiches
Cheese $2.29 = 10 sandwiches
Cheese sticks $3.99 = 12 lunches
$1.85 per day I could go much cheaper if I brought shit ingredients. The only thing I went cheap with was the cheese.
English

@RonFilipkowski I bet she is very concerned but sure that he will learn his lesson.
English

@RonFilipkowski The damage is going to lost a lot longer then Trump's presidency. Who will believe the US ever, EVER again? If just one person can break up all alliances, piss off all allies and show as much dislike and contempt. US lost its reputation forever; it will take decades.
English

@ForgiatoBlow47 I really don't understand why you guys continue to lie when it is so easy to look this stuff up. It's actually $6.13 in CA, $4.30 in Iowa. National average is $4.53. Yes, CA has the highest gas prices in the nation. Yes, CA also has the highest standards for water and air.
