@MTahmidAhmed @sohailhanif Profound. What I would say about the Dars e Nizami however, is that it equips students for exactly this, IF taught and studied as it was intended to be. Alternatively, students need to take responsibility to study with different shyookh (as the Salaf did) to broaden their outlook

@lookforurself @SAYY1Di Aqeedah is the single most important subject. It literally determines if you are Muslim or not. Kalam as a philosophical theology on the other hand, isn't necessary to be Muslim.

@SultanMuaddib @SAYY1Di Nasafi is from a Maturidi perspective so necessarily is partisan. I would say just stuck to Tahawi, which is more fundamental.

@mk8dpro001 @SAYY1Di By educateling the layman that these are not important issues. What happens instead is the other side teaches them their refutation and then the endless cycle starts

@Caliphatestan @JonesDanny @BekLoverNYC I don’t know why you need to lie? Maybe you actually believe those erroneous claims, I don’t know. But the academies the world over have scrutinized the oldest books of the Bible. The old trick of saying Jesus didn’t even exist has long been proven wrong and obsolete.

@BorboaErnie @JonesDanny @BekLoverNYC And so far no proof of anyone not allowing examination. Just empty claims. I can equally say the vatican hasn't allowed any examination. In fa lct they admitted Christianity is false and they're just in it for the money

@BorboaErnie @JonesDanny @BekLoverNYC Wrong again and on more than one count. There's no such thing as a "Mecca" not allowing anything lool like theres some kind of Meccan Pope issuing directives lol The turkey manuscript is neither oldest manuscripts nor unexamined. Quick search. Try it. Is really not difficult.

@BorboaErnie @JonesDanny @BekLoverNYC Lol is actually the opposite. Olderst bible manuscript is a paper the size of a matchbox. The oldest complete one is lile 3-400 years after Jesus. Scrutiny not allowed lool. That's pure made up nonesense. Just search. Very easy to do

@JonesDanny @BekLoverNYC The earliest Bible’s exist and have been allowed to be scrutinized and studied by secular and atheist academics. They found them to corroborate and correlate with each other perfectly. The same can’t be said about the two oldest Quran’s in existence. Scrutiny is not allowed

Scholarly analysis of early Quranic manuscripts (7th-9th cent.) reveals minor textual adjustments via erasures & insertions (Brubaker et al.): • Post-production insertions of 'Allah' in multiple codices (e.g., Fustat, Sana'a fragments). • Repeated corrections to rizq-derived terms. • Sana'a palimpsest lower text: word additions/omissions (e.g., Surah Maryam 19:26 variants). • 'Huwa Allāh' replacement in Q34:27 (Marcel 5). • Multiple corrections + rasm variants on one page (MS.474.2003). • Additions like 'malakun' or rephrasings in Sana'a lower layer. • Recurring erasures/overwrites of 'riḍwān' in Q9:109 across ≥6 manuscripts. These reflect scribal refinement amid oral standardization & ahruf-to-rasm transition, not doctrinal overhaul

@JonesDanny @BekLoverNYC Your interlocutor manipulates basic facts about religious wars in Europe. Those wars were often against Muslims invading Europe. Also girls are trafficked for sex businesses not only inEurope, but everywhere and Muslims (eg. Pakistanis) are making this traffic work running gangs.

The descent of @MrAdnanRashid into takfiri sectarianism is a warning for the ages As we age, we ought to acquire more hikmah The opposite has occurred here As someone whom I admired during my uni days, a real pioneer of Western strret dawah, his self-destruction is sad to see.

@NewCrescentSoc You guys are deluded. There's absolutely no rhyme or reason to restrict the definition of "local" to the UK and exclude Morocco.

"YOU DID EID TOO EARLY! MAKE UP YOUR FASTS!!" A group of mosques and ulama have declared to their followers that they should have done Eid on Saturday, and not Friday due to some issues they have with Morocco’s moonsighting this year. From a scientific perspective we will say that Morocco’s moonsighting was possible but very challenging - but when you outsource your moon to another country’s government, how do you expect to be able to check and scrutinise that decision from here in the UK? We should add though Morocco has a strong reputation in moonsighting. Nevertheless we cannot expect a foreign government to comply with our demands of scrutiny. This is another benefit of homegrown local sunnah moonsighting ! Your sighters are here, in your community.

@sajjadkaswani @freemonotheist Your point is a divinely appointed imam is needed? Substitute caliphate for zakat. Better example - good character is an obligation. So must come from God alone. How does God alone implementgood character? Makes no sense if we extend the logic. Hence, divine imam not needed

@freemonotheist If Caliphate is an obligation, then it must come from Allah alone. Decisions made by people whether individually or collectively cannot be inherently binding on others; they are part of governance and administrative systems, and such systems can always be changed through public.

In 2016 Tommy @TRobinsonNewEra was i/v'ed by @AlJazeera on Inside Story. TR, a critic of Islam & the Quran, is asked about a quote from a holy book. He is trying to trick him into saying the violent verse is from the Quran, when in fact it's the Old Testament. TR gets it right. When critically commenting on Mohammed & Islam, including the age Mohammed's consummated his marriage at the age of 9, it is cut, but TR records the censorship. I believe the presenter is Peter Dobbie who is now at the BBC, I believe he left under a cloud after claiming Middle East & North African refugees were not middle-class like Ukrainians. Dobbie claims there are no punishments for leaving Islam, but @grok told me under Qatar's Penal Code (Law No. 11 of 2004) leaving Islam, or "riddah" is legally punishable by death. Blasphemy is punishable by up to 7 years in prison. The new British anti-Muslim hostility has been live for two days.

@XAverroes @mrkiteboy @Farid_0v Not searching through other threads, sorry. You can link here if you want. Time is valuable You're very much the claimant on this, I'm afraid. You said is shirk. I'm asking for proof Not asking to prove negative. Just show where God says creation is unique to Him in all senses
