Ehhh I guess. The get back to me is retreating and winning the fight. Some of the most heart pounding matches of my life are successfully ambushing squads on marathon, I think the trade off is worth it. It’s easy to take shitty fights in an FPS though so I get it.

In CS if you get fucked you can cuss a little say "that guy's dogshit" and kick his ass next round. There's always a getback opportunity. In extraction shooters you will never see the person who kicked your ass again. And then you queue 5 times and fuck I have to go to work.

ARC Raiders PvE players turned "rat" into a meaningless slur for any PvP. It used to mean backstabbing, extract camping, or low-risk scavenging. Now it just means “anyone who shoots me unannounced.” Yet they are the ones trying to force the whole PvPvE game to bend to their PvE-only will. PvPvE Extraction Game, remember? 😂
