Did you know that it's actually very easy and cool to NOT insist that every trans man pretend that cis women are the only ones being violent to us?

@deepinthedirt The comparison, however, is not unnecessary. It highlights a double standard, which not only helps people see how unfair and unnecessary their behaviour is, but also helps reassure some victims of transmisandry that they're not going crazy.

@deepinthedirt You're right that I shouldn't have been so reductive and final about what trans women do or don't experience. That was wrong of me and it's been amended.

@transmutanthood There's not near-universal insistence that it's misgendering to make room for trans women's unique needs and experiences, because we understand that cis women aren't the only type of woman. But trans people conveniently don't understand that the moment it's applied to men. 🙃

@CalledLevi In that case, the extension's settings can customize what 'dark' is ('see all options'): - Sliders for tinting sepia or gray. - Several other premade themes. - Choose your own bkg+text+selection colors.

Okay, so it turns out that SOMEONE — I won't name names… Elon — decided that it would be a great idea to force twitter's display theme to copy your OS. Thing is, there IS no "dim" option on your OS! So dim mode is completely unusable!

Super important vid just came out. Not only does Ethel prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Lily is lying at several points, but the discussions about anti-Blackness, transmisogyny and enbymisia were eye-opening. I implore you to watch if you can stomach it.

@CA7746 Yeah, I'm using that, but its dark mode is similar to twitter's lights out theme, so it's replacing one theme I can't stand with another theme I can't stand. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

@CalledLevi I see you're using Twittter's triple-dot, settings, display... Would this browser extension do the trick? It broadly overrides sites' themes to be dark. darkreader.org
