@Lea_EFC More broadly, there’s something really off about how our penalty claims have been rejected this season. This one’s contentious, yes, but it absolutely gets given for other teams & for a long time now, these incidents have felt different, and almost always “no” when it’s Spurs.
English

@Lea_EFC Same, particularly with this “new” angle. Maddison insisted it was his own touch on IG too, and I don’t really have him down as the type to shout about it on social media unless he felt that strongly.
…

@AriTHFC An insane comp, this.
When you see it in this format, clip after clip, game after game, you realise how bad it is.
We’re not the only victim of poor officiating of course, but I’d fancy us to be one of the worst affected. It’s so unprofessional for the top level of the game.
English

Tottenham were actually robbed…😬😳
Now Football@Nowfootball
🚨NEW FOOTAGE🚨 Tottenham should’ve definitely had a penalty, no contact with the ball from Nmecha there for me❌😬😳
English

@sammy_ameobi @THFC_Johnny @SpursArmyTweets Our fans know we’re not a great side, but that’s not the point.
Spurs fans who watch the games will also know about the litany of basic decisions that go against us every game, and honestly, it’s exhausting.
I just want better, consistent officiating - not special treatment.
English

@THFC_Johnny @SpursArmyTweets You’re just absolutely shite lad
English

@chasethfc @TheSpursWatch It is absolutely the right decision to blame him.
It is utterly infuriating, particularly as there’s a player in there.
English

@TheSpursWatch No way you’re blaming him, if he didn’t attempt to clear it you be crying that he didn’t care enough.
English

@TheSpursWatch Absolutely mental to me how we just never, ever get given penalties.
I don’t even remember when our last penalty was? Solanke against Bodo in the semi-final?
English

@spursgonesout @DaleJohnsonBBC Doesn’t seem to work does it?
So yes, no tangible outcome! 😉
English

@CallumOLeary @DaleJohnsonBBC Presumably drives PGMOL training of their shit officials

Everton should have been awarded a penalty in the 2-1 defeat at West Ham for handball by Mateus Fernandes, the KMI Panel says.
"He punched the ball," Moyes said after the game.
The panel voted 4:1 that it was an error by both the referee and VAR.

@Z_PearsonTHFC I think so - hasn’t really been troubled *too much* in recent weeks, but there appears to be a good mentality there.
I’d fancy him to make some big steps in the next year or so, and to be honest I’d keep him in goal now - even if Vicario recovers before the end of the season.
English

@thespursweb Currently no, as he’s been comfortably one of the worst loan signings we’ve ever had.
It could be too little too late, but I fancy de Zerbi to get something out of him before the end of the season.
English

@GeorgesTipsHQ @R_degraft Well, that’s one out of two achieved! 🙏
Nice one Razzaq 👌
English

@CallumOLeary @R_degraft Him staying and spurs staying up would be a dream 🤞🏼
English

@JDTHEHITCHER @DAZNFootball We are, and that’s mainly because of Thomas Frank’s appalling management.
I still hold the theory that Kane would give it all back to have won the Europa League with us last year rather than breaking a load of Bundesliga records.
Game of opinions and all that…
English

@CallumOLeary @DAZNFootball Aye sure. Spurs are near relegation 😂😂😂😂😂😂
English

@gavlar70151876 @DAZNFootball Tbh I’m not even saying he should’ve stayed. Obviously I was gutted when he left, but ENIC let him down massively by not going out & signing big, in-their-prime players to match Kane’s quality.
He wanted to go, but from what I’ve seen of the Bundesliga I think it’s pretty poor.
English

@MIGHTYSPURZ I’ve really swung back & forth on him this season, but in recent weeks he’s been superb & I’ve def. been guilty of writing him off.
The concern for me is age - 31 in July & legs *can* start to go, but I like the idea of keeping him around as one of leading/sr. players
English

@FootyAccums Potentially.
A lot can change - and very quickly - with good coaching.
I’d feel more comfortable if he’d said Europa League, but I rate the ambition - something that was clearly lacking in Thomas Frank.
English

@Z_PearsonTHFC The quality of the coaching, I hope.
Everything de Zerbi’s said in press conferences so far appears to have set the tone - we’ve gone from Frank telling us to expect to lose games, to RDZ telling them to leave everything they’ve got on the pitch. Things seem somewhat… better
