Back in the States now, reflecting on an unbelievable week in Sheffield…. on behalf of Michael, Tom and myself, I want to thank the wonderful city of Sheffield, the local members of the community we met, the Supporters’ Trust and the Sheffield Wednesday fans for making us feel so incredibly welcome. We are listening to and collaborating with talented Wednesdayites across the city to ensure we deliver a best in class fan experience. Whilst we continue to work diligently to become stewards of this unique and historic club, please know that we will be doing everything we can in the interest of a “Better Wednesday” and a brighter future for everyone associated with Sheffield Wednesday. @YesWeCrann But because the new group aren't bothered about relegation, they need a new reason to try and get them to pull out. They don't want to sign off on the sale of the club, they want to delay and defer to IFR. I'd not be surprised if they don't budge on the wage cap (2/3),

I understand the -15, it's in the regulations and if it's waived then it could set a dangerous precedent... But a £7k wage cap on top of the deduction and the fee restriction feels absolutely unnecessary and unjustified. Completely unfair.

Here’s a fact for you seeing as you are devoid of them. I wanted to do pretty much exactly the desk Mike is offering .. At the time admin had a plethora of “bidders “ who would pay £30m + or so he thought .. So we walked as I wanted to invest in a club with huge future requirements , not a former owner The ridiculous EFL rule/ guidance of allowing a poor owner to be protected made no sense to me . The 15 point penalty could come this season and the battle with Chansiri/ Nick De Marco and EFL I suspect Mike will take on ..

Adam Shaw’s friends wanted to get the club on the cheap. Jordan wanted the club on the cheap, even a £1 deal. Walton’s was never interested. Mcevoy never had the money to pay the deposit. And yet Mike Ashley who provided proof of funds, deposit and courted the club for over six months is the villain for not wanting to pay the over inflated price. #SWFC
