For the safety of the traveling public, Caltrans crews cleared an encampment site along US 101 near the northbound Garden on ramp in Santa Barbara County, removing 40 cubic yards of debris. The one individual impacted were offered assistance by our local social service partners.

Travelers on Hwy. 9 just north of Graham Hill Rd. in Felton will encounter daytime one-way reversing traffic control starting Monday, May 18 through Wednesday, May 20. Also, overnight traffic control will continue Monday through Friday in the same location from 8 pm to 6 am.

Repairs to Granite Canyon Bridge, damaged during a recent traffic collision, will result in Mon. thru Fri. traffic control on Hwy. 1 from 9 am to 1 pm, for 4 weeks. Crews to repair bridge, 8 miles south of Carmel, and will re-form the bridge rail to match its original design.
