@brianmoore666 The £10k for MPs was for providing staff with proper equipment to work from home rsther than just for the MP

1. Then why choose to use the word commuting? 2. MPs £10K payment was for costs of working from home. This implies there are costs of doing so up to that high figure. If you absorb them why should you be further penalised if you produce the same & possibly reduce employer costs?

"To find a Prime Minister that's laughing and joking about that demonstrates that this man doesn't understand the burdens of office." Leader of the SNP in Westminster @Ianblackford_MP says Boris Johnson's coal mine comments were insensitive. @Chloetilley | @patrickkmaguire

Lives & communities in Scotland were utterly devastated by Thatcher’s destruction of the coal industry (which had zero to do with any concern she had for the planet). To treat that as something to laugh about is crass & deeply insensitive to that reality.

@CalumCashley carefully bookmarked, Calum... thanks for taking the time to unearth it. Hoffa would've been proud to have you on his team.

From Bobby Kennedy’s book The Enemy Within, featuring corrupt union boss Jimmy #Hoffa. This evasive answer from Hoffa during an investigation of the Teamsters union reminded me of the #Salmond inquiry …

@GrahamGGrant I did a thread on it at the time, every single instance. You can look it up if you want. Never trust a Tory

@GrahamGGrant Well, I remember the clartyTories claiming that the FM used similar phrases but I checked the OR and all of those were actually phrases like "I don't remember the Tories ever saying", never Sturgeon claiming to have forgotten a piece of information

@CalumCashley of course. There was the odd Hoffa-style failure of recollection at the Salmond inquiry, too. (If I remember correctly)

@GrahamGGrant Wouldn't have thought that from your original tweet. Still, redactions are often important in protecting people
