@SamBrownjohn @MartinSLewis But is any tax due on lattice work, that’s what I really want to know.
English

@MartinSLewis This is still outrageous. Second hand selling is becoming more popular and is a great sustainable way to generate some income and prevent waste. Tax is already paid upon original purchase of these items, so why do people need to pay again, and how can the gov justify this?
English

Pls share. Many are worried after reports that Etsy, eBay, Vinted etc will start automatically passing sales info to HM Revenue. To set your mind at rest, best to read our full guide at moneysavingexpert.com/news/2024/01/o…, but in brief
1. There is no new tax
2. Unless you're 'trading' selling your old stuff isn't taxed
3. Only sales over c£1,700 or more than 30 items a year are reported

Not as calm as it has been over the past few weeks, but who cares. Still enjoy the smell of the sea air and the weekly walk with Dexter 🐕 down at #whitleybay.

@joelgolby I used to work in Giraffe in 2008 and it was the ‘house lager’ (bottled only). Years ahead of their time.
English

@JohnS1969 @glastonbury I couldn’t bring myself to watch any of it this year. I’m sure it was a good one though!
English

That depressing moment when it's time to cut off your wristbands for another year!
Roll on 2024!
@glastonbury

English

@Neza9 Fingers crossed for a big big win - preferably by at least 7 goals 😉
English

@SamBrownjohn @theneedledrop Another band that's above you mate?

@HMRCcustomers Your automated call centre takes my security information and then hangs up. I'm not able to even be put on hold. Is the service working properly?
English

Good morning, @HMRCcustomers are here until 8pm to answer your general queries on Twitter. Please don't post any personal details.

@AdamRead74 POPs waste will also always need an EfW home - potential for this waste stream to increase in the future too!
