@HatingIsASport@nin10doland Like with yoshi, they had a trailer in September then waited till March which isn’t a bad wait. The main problem is them focusing the entire trailer on an enemy that blows bubbles. That isn’t getting me excited for the game it’s making me worried, show literally anything else.
@Calvinstall1@nin10doland And your ideal scenario would be... a 2-3min slot in a Direct right now, then go radio silent until the game launches? Explain in detail why this method of building anticipation over time doesn't work. Also tell me have you worked marketing at all before?
@HatingIsASport@nin10doland Nah bro he’s right, they shouldn’t reveal a game go radio silent on it for over a year then come back to show a tiny bit of it and a release date
@nin10doland If you were an actual content creator that actually knew what he was talking about, you'd know Nintendo doesn't just drop a 20 second clip of a mini game to promote their game. There is over two months left. Play other games til then you hype beast
@RicFromSSS Ok I can see why you say that but segas involvement for sonic 2 is to keep things in check like miyamotos involvement with the Mario movie and he did help with the story of the legend of Zelda games and those have amazing stories
Miyamoto’s involvement should make you scared not excited. He is not a writer, he has no film experience, he doesn’t know what makes a good movie. He makes great video games, but that doesn’t translate to also being great with film. Whatever “creativity” they could have is gone.
This month saw long-running shmup series Aleste (known as Power Strike elsewhere) debut in Japan on the Master System all the way back in 1988!
