Regarding plea conditions, as explained by Oakes’ family, the restorative justice one will be a mediated meeting between them and White, no lawyers, where they can ask him questions about what happened that night. Commonwealth says it’s only been used a few times in the city.

White also read his own statement in court apologizing to the family.
