In Wales, the Welsh Refugee Council is using 12-year-old girls in ads meant to entice migrant men to come to Wales. Most members of this council are from the Middle East, India and Pakistan. I think I’m going to throw up.

"At the police station, Kate was taken into the interview room. Before the interview began, and without Kate’s mother present, Kate was told that this was her “last chance” to say that her report was untrue. She was warned that if any part of her account could not be supported by evidence, she could and would be arrested. For an extended period of time, both officers repeatedly told her how much trouble she would be in if any detail of her statement was disproved, and that she could withdraw the allegation before the interview started with no further consequences. They also suggested that her parents would be relieved if she said the incident had not happened."

Poor methodology is a disservice to survivors bc there’s probably more out there we don’t know that got overlooked. What if it’s 500K not 250K? We don’t know.
& when time comes to tackle these gangs, would police have enough information to know what to look for? Where to look?

Start of this thread looks bad but it actually gives a good detailed critique on how the rape gangs inquiry is written.
There’s no denying they exist, but scientific rigor is essential even cases with clear conclusions. Theres much we still don’t know because of gaps in research

The report was released. It's so bad I think it's a joke. I mean, I'm sure to the targeted demographic, this is probably the most intelligent thing they've ever read in their entire life, but it's such a MEME from an academic point of view I'm starting to think Rupert's a troll

@romillyknower At first I was skeptical of this thread, but I can’t deny the flaws of the inquiry now.
The grooming gangs definitely happened the victims and perpetrators are very real, but yeah I see now there’s a ton of missing information we’re not getting.

🚨 BREAKING: Daniel Rushby, aka "Ponytail" a known Stand Up to Racism activist has been arrested for his role in the vicious attack on 17-year-old activist Young Bob in Manchester.
Footage shows Rushby grabbing, punching, helping restrain the teen, and stealing/busting his camera equipment during the June 15 incident on Market Street. Young Bob suffered bruises, cuts, and a suspected concussion.
Attacking a minor is serious - charges could include assault, robbery, and more.
I wonder if he will recieve the same kind of immediate harsh sentencing that the boys from the Southampton protest got.
