100% agree. It’s not about truth. It’s about ‘winning’ the argument.
Recent example:
I think ETH goes lower, present a chart & share my idea, stating it’s a possibility only.
99% of the comments:
Throw insult, [Insert lie about my performance or track record], use that lie to justify why I will be wrong.
It’s not about truth. The truth is, it’s possible.
It’s not about exchanging ideas, if it was people would counter with a chart showing an alternative path.
It’s about trying to win an exchange, even if it means lying to achieve that win.

Misinformation is making X unusable. Everyone just games the system by monetizing obvious lies without any consequences. There's no incentive to fix it because more lies = more engagement.
