Happy Earth Day! 🌍
There are lots of ways to help the earth. Recycle and reuse are just a few. It can start with one cap!
The buddy benches are made by recycling 200 lbs of plastic caps per bench and the cap art reuses caps and turns them into murals. #EarthDay
Ray V Pottorf 5th graders learn about the FL Fighting Conch and other gastropods from an expert! A marine biologist from Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum visited for the whole day. Thanks to the amazing donors that support the Museum and its educational out reach programs!
What better area than the school stage to have the most"dramatic" setting of a dark outer space? Mrs. Cox's 4th graders help make a model of the sun, stars, and Earth to better understand what we see in the night sky during different seasons.
Thank you to Bailey' s Shell Museum from Sanibel! They visited our 3rd graders to share information about mollusks! We identified and sorted gastropods and bivalves!
This year we added a hayride to our annual trunk or treat event! Our neighbors @PLDunbarMS were kind enough to allow us to turn their field into a track! 🎃
