This was such a fun project. I have always been jealous of how stem cells can be used to access a range of different cells in the body. We thought it could be cool if we can develop polymers that can be differentiated into different plastic materials.

2. Published in @MacroJrnls_ACS’s Biomacromolecules, they found that mixing existing biomaterials with porous plastics created a new substance which is non-toxic over a range of stiffness. Research in collaboration with @Monash_Science's Prof @cameron_grp.

1. LIMS Researchers Dr @nickyrey11 and Dr Katrina Binger have developed non-toxic biomaterials that mimic human tissue, which could help scientists better investigate how immune cells behave in different tissues, such as the lungs, the brain or skin.
