This is such a good point! I love the chat! We realized this summer at @CampYesAnd that we could really measure engagement and group connection by looking at the chat. Plus, it was a great place for people to be heard and then quickly redirect to the main task. Awesome thread!👇🏻

It’s vital to include students in developing group expectations! Today, this group worked on co-creating expectations in our zoom meetings. We started out using the circle of expectations for something VERY different from school, then talked about class. I’m so proud of them!

When we had virtual @CampYesAnd this year, it was clear that different teens found ways to interact with the tech and environment at their comfort levels. They could participate from a safe sensory space, or turn the camera off to sit under a weighted blanket for a while.
