Hiding another anti-voter provision inside of it makes it even more important for the Senate to reject it, too.

The House also passed the deeply flawed Stop Insider Trading Act — with a provision of the SAVE America Act hidden inside. The Stop Insider Trading Act is an inadequate bill that wouldn't actually stop congressional stock trading or restore public trust in government.

The House just effectively passed the so-called SAVE America Act, which was cynically shoehorned into the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). We're urging the Senate to once again reject this anti-democratic bill and instead focus on protecting Americans' freedom to vote.

Forcing the SAVE America Act into a defense bill? Sneaking parts of it into the flawed Stop Insider Trading Act? Trump allies are trying to Trojan horse anti-democratic bills into unrelated bills because they know they won't pass otherwise. Congress should reject this scheme.
