GOOD NEWS: @DeptVetAffairs announced that they will allow abortion counseling and make abortions available in certain cases. Today’s announcement is a major step forward for abortion access for veterans.

Example: patient’s water broke. 18 weeks. Patient can continue the pregnancy and hope to reach viability but chances are low. In the mean time pt may become septic, go to ICU, hemorrhage, die. Will doc go to jail for providing abortion?
