We learned that the software was updated to allow app users determine what areas you wanted to receive notifications for.
On the main page of the app, users will find a button for "Campus Alert Settings". On the page located within, users can select their notification locations.
On November 1st, Queen's Campus Security and Emergency Services sent an alert via the SeQure app push notification platform. We received many reports of people not receiving the notification. This resulted in discussions with the service provider.
As exams are underway, Campus Security and Emergency Services would like to wish all our students a safe and successful exam session.
Please remember that all bagsand backpacks are not permitted in an exam room, and must be left in the hallway at your own risk.
