Considering, that Gamescom happens later that month, the media will have enough time to cover GTA 6.

🚨GTA VI TRAILER 3 TODAY!? 🎮🚨
Tons of "news" accounts are telling you again, just like every Tuesday and Thursday for the past 6 or 7 months, that it’s the "perfect moment" for a trailer.
At the risk of repeating myself: don’t expect a trailer today or Thursday. I’m not saying it's impossible, but it’s very, very unlikely. Rockstar is clearly back to their own business. If they really wanted to drop it now, they would’ve just released it alongside the pre-orders. It makes no sense to stop the communication for a week just to drop a trailer right afterthey’d just dump everything at once.
In my opinion (and we're never sure with Rockstar), don’t expect a trailer this month. Their communication strategy might have totally changed since GTA V. A trailer could easily arrive late August or even later this year. Keep in mind that even in September, we’ll still have two and a half months left. They are more than capable of squeezing their communication into that release window. They could drop a ton of info then, or even skip a "Trailer 3" entirely and go straight to a much longer gameplay trailer than usual.
Don’t take every rumor on the internet as gospel. It’s fine to have theories, but this "every Tuesday is the perfect moment" theory makes absolutely no sense, guys. 👊
