In a rapidly changing world, the multilateral framework of the #Francophonie, which is present across five continents, has a crucial role to play. In this context, Canada intends to submit its candidacy to host the #Francophonie Summit in 2028.

We reaffirmed Canada’s strong commitment to the @OIFrancophonie, of which Canada is a founding member. Canada’s diverse Francophonie, spanning the entire country, plays a vital role in promoting the French language worldwide.

Last week, at the invitation of the @UJML's International Institute for La Francophonie, we had the pleasure of meeting with students and faculty as part of the International Francophonie Meetings, which put Canada at centre stage this year.
