1. Something about the nightclub setting which allowed it to spread more quickly
2. A change in the bacteria which makes it more transmissible.

Today, I announced that our government is investing $1.3 billion to extend Alstom’s contract to operate and maintain GO Transit and UP Express service through 2031, helping keep more than 1,100 Ontario workers on the job across the GTHA and supporting safe, reliable service for more than 120,000 daily riders.
As GO Expansion moves forward, we’re protecting Ontario by making sure Ontario tax dollars continue to support Ontario workers and Ontario jobs.

If it were, you’d have already made a law requiring no new gas power plants & require new electricity made by wind, solar, & geothermal with battery storage to match it. You’d be spending EQUAL dollars on installing it that you’ve put into oil & gas! But you don’t!!

I feel a bit deflated this evening.
The UK Covid Inquiry has concluded six years too late that covid is and always was airborne.
I fought so hard in my local community to raise awareness and understanding of what airborne transmission meant.
I was laughed at, ridiculed, attacked, but I was right.
This is cold comfort, because nothing will change - because now they think *it's a good idea to catch everything*.
Now they know things are airborne, they'll probably seal the doors and windows to make sure everyone catches everything.
It's not the understanding of airborne transmission that's the problem, it's that people now think it's good to get sick.
And their broken bodies are less able to fight off infection, so when they catch everything all the damage piles up.
I hate this timeline.
