I have a Discord account with/at/for? Cubs Army, but the layout is confusing, and I haven't posted anything yet.

I'm trying to take screenshots of all the nifty Alex Rider stuff I want to keep from Twitter, so that I can dump the platform entirely eventually, and there's a lot! We had so much fun! 🥹

Wanted to hold off of getting another app to get distracted by but if people are there (and Rick Riordan has it too 😆) then maybe Shame about old inactive fans here though

@zorallens @7Gobbolino I'm on Bluesky and Tumblr. Tumblr has an existing Alex Rider community, but it's mostly posts and reblogs. Bluesky lends itself much better to conversations, in my opinion, like old Twitter. I don't know if there are more than two of us there... YET. I'm magicboxoftwine on both.

@GuyBurtAuthor Wonderful! Thank you so much for your answers! I'm glad he was referring to his mum. We don't hear much about Helen, but Alex would have been the centre of her universe for the short time she was with him.

Hiya! Sorry for the slow response – my head has been elsewhere recently (mainly in novels...). As for the questions – S3 takes place, if I remember rightly, more or less in a half-term holiday of Alex and Tom's first year of 6th form. They might miss a bit of school along the way... The answer "They both were" was supposed to include Alex's mum in his appreciation for his parents (I felt it was a bit narrow to just think of his dad as a hero when both his parents died at Scorpia's hands and both worked to protect him). And finally, yes, I'm not very happy with putting money into Elon's pocket right now, and am looking hard at BlueSky. If I do jump, I'll let you know my username before I go 😁 Hope everyone's well!
