@CanalRiverTrust @NABO_Official there is water pouring out by bridge on Shropshire Union and it hasn't been raining for a while. This was reported before and visited.

If anyone is wondering why W3W data is missing from newly added locations in Canalplan it's because our API key stopped working and we can't justify paying £8 a month (or possibly £35) just to support a tiny bit of functionality

@nb_Snowgoose I remember seeing at at Calverley and wondering what it's sad tale was. I seemed to be in quite good condition

@CanalplanAC It's been underwater for some length lf time at both Bunbury and Calverley, there's no way that was moving under its own steam. It's coming out the water at Aqueduct so looks like CBS moving it on behalf of CRT.

This ex-hire boat just passed being pushed by a outboard going like the clappers and not moving very quickly. Boaters local to Bunbury and Calverley will remember it sinking at both locations latterly dumped on the 48 hour moorings at the latter a bit more than 2 days !

@notsadlerswells Not requested an updated list from crt. The last one was completely useless and it took days to try to clear it up.

@CanalplanAC The forty-year old boat we had for twenty years is on the list. Changed last year to a five-year old boat which isn't on there. Is it only boats over a certain age?

Had another person wanting their boat removing from the Boat listing - given that it's publicly available information I'm not sure what they think it will achieve

@NiamhEurophile @notsadlerswells That's odd as the names are indexed and soundexed. Data is so old and it's hard to get anything from crt that isn't just a mess.

@notsadlerswells @CanalplanAC My 50yr old is on the list but I had to find it using the index number, not its name which does come up when the system finds it. 🤔

@YACA_UK Nothing personal in it at all - not even mooring location. Also how do I know that they actually own that boat.

@CanalplanAC As a boat isn't a natural person, GDPR rules wouldn't apply surely?

@CanalplanAC The one on the right - you need to consider colour contrast as some eye conditions might find the one on the left quite difficult to see clearly... Contact the RNIB - they might have some good advice on the issue...

@PeteSamuels5 Good question. Same data underneath just a different style being applied during the rendering in the browser. So I suspect there isn't much difference

@CanalplanAC Which one has the lowest data footprint.? Remember when we're on the cut, mobile signal is not always best.
