Our newest member, @BardoFoundation is an international childhood cancer charity founded in memory of Bernardo “Bardo” Eggesbø. They fund research, support patients and families, and lead Osteosarcoma Now, accelerating progress through collaboration to improve outcomes.

@worldcancerday is a reminder to come together to take action against cancer. In the UK, 47% of cancer diagnoses are of rare & less common cancers yet they account for 55% of cancer deaths. We must work collaboratively to overcome this difference. #WorldCancerDay #UnitedByUnique

It is Less Survivable Cancers Awareness Week. Five out of the six cancers – brain, liver, oesophageal, pancreatic and stomach – are rare and less common. Like many rare and less common cancers, the less survivable cancers typically have less investment in research.
