My son Horatio is doing a semester-abroad in Grenoble, France, where he is studying engineering (they invited him to do a PhD there!). He organized a gathering at his home "with ten or so of my friends," he said, in which each guest made a French dish and then spoke a bit about it in French. They had ratatouille, escargot, French onion soup, French sausage in puff pastry, raclette, chocolate mousse, and crepes. The kid is doing alright.
Crowdsourcing this:
We have small kids (2&4) and we need a spot to go for spring break. Would love a direct flight from NYC, family friendly, warm weather. Thinking about Florida keys, Hilton Head or we could go international…
Would love to feel resourced and that the kids have stuff to do.
