Last year, Government declared a war on cancer & promised a #10YearCancerPlan that would lead the world in cancer. Then this Jan they announced a shorter-term Major Conditions Strategy - not the ambitious world leading cancer plan we had hoped for.

This is fantastic work! The pilot project is underway across four intensive care units to improve hair and skin care for patients from diverse backgrounds. We are incredibly excited to watch them progress. Read more below:

We are disappointed there is still no update regarding the 10-year cancer plan while BAME people continue to suffer from later cancer diagnoses and worse survival rates. Our founder @MissOladele gave evidence helping to shape the plan. It shouldn't be left any longer.
