🚨 BREAKING Canada’s entrepreneurship rate just hit a 45-year low. IT GETS WORSE. The number of Canadians who actually run businesses with employees dropped 57% since 2000. IT GETS WORSE. VC investment got cut in half in two years. Seed rounds here are 40% smaller than the US. IT GETS WORSE. In 2024, for the first time ever, more Canadian-educated founders started their companies in the US than in Canada. Only 1 in 3 are still based here. IT GETS WORSE. Y Combinator briefly removed Canada from its acceptable jurisdictions list entirely. They sent a message. New businesses created since 2015: France up 86% UK up 40% US up 34% Canada? Flat. 191,000 → 190,000 $66 billion in startup ecosystem value: gone from Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal in five years. We’re not just losing OUR BEST to the US. We’re losing the people who CREATE the jobs. THE BEST PEOPLE ARE LEAVING.

Today in Princeton, we cut the ribbon on Phase II of The District, which will bring 110 new workforce housing units to Gibson County.
The District is helping workers—many employed at Toyota—find quality housing closer to their jobs, cutting long commutes and supporting our workforce.

While a family was out shopping together a rude lady parked her car diagonally and when the shoppers returned to their vehicle to try to squeeze in through the tight quarters only then did she open the door to make sure they didn’t “damage her car” when the lady in the white SUV opened the door to address the young ladies tirades first she claimed she was two months pregnant, then she claimed she was second trimester threatening to drag her out of the car if she “tried to injure her baby“ while she was the one that put herself in that position,, I am of the opinion this lady was looking for trouble, little old ladies don’t shoehorn their way into parking places that tight only to struggle exiting the vehicle.
what are your thoughts on this situation ?
