Semi early thoughts about the Ennis-Zayas card: Jaron Ennis will most likely get outboxed 1-6 because he’s incapable of hitting a moving target, and Xander will almost certainly not stand and trade. We’ll see Xander fade in the back half of the fight, and this is where Ennis’ superior conditioning will take over and lead to a decision or late stoppage. Emiliano Vargas’ power is a bit overrated, but he disguises his punches pretty well. Bryce Mills is a tough guy, not much else about him. I like Emiliano on points or a late stoppage as well. Ben Whittaker is probably underestimating Rivera because of his character, and I honestly don’t think that matters 😂. He’ll be too sharp and athletic for him, but I don’t expect an early blowout like his last few fights. Whittaker should take him out in the middle rounds after clowning around a bit. Jahi Tucker vs. Euri Cedeno is my FOTN. I expect Euri to try to break Jahi, but ultimately I think that’s a difficult task against someone like Tucker, who has Crash Bandicoot energy and what seems to be A+ stamina and output. Jahi via 10-round slapping.
