Not a lot of posts about Aston Villa winning the Europa League from a load of those ‘Villa fans’ who took to the streets to protest Jewish fans coming to Villa Park…

It’s deeply concerning that over 4 million British Muslims, who contribute more than £70 billion to the UK economy and enrich every part of our society, continue to face overt Islamophobic rhetoric that fuels division, hatred, and horrific crimes.

A Muslim man opening a Birmingham city council meeting. Why has this offended and annoyed the usual suspects? I'm confused as to why this is offensive.

Regardless of whether Southampton have done wrong or not, how can they expel them so close to the game? Fans will have spent money booking trains, tickets and hotels. You really do have to feel for them. 🤯🫣

As someone who is just never around alcohol I found the experience of smelling it and being around lots of drunk people yesterday extremely uncomfortable. I washed my clothes and myself as soon as I got back home just to get rid of the stench. Leaving religion aside, I just don't get why anyone would drink something that is obviously so bad for your health and which deprives you of self control. I know that alcohol is a major part of many people's lives here and perhaps that's even more true for the working class. But the devil's brew is the devil's brew and anyone who avoids it has an instant advantage in life.

Was in a taxi near Euston yesterday, and saw two men waving a Union Jack flag on a pole, storming along, shouting in an intimidating way to everyone walking by peacefully. It was both grotesque and ridiculous. Don’t let anyone fool you that this is patriotic.

Front of today’s massive demonstration for Palestine. They wanted to ban us but they couldn’t. Quarter of a million of us repping the vast majority of the population who support Palestine and detest racism. ( ‘Tommy Robinson’s’ turnout was poor too.)

Hearing the Unite The Kingdom march is a massive damp squib in terms of numbers. 5K max in Parliament Square at the moment. Lots of empty spaces. Really poor turnout.

Today, thousands of people — of all faiths and none — are marching in support of the Palestinian people and against the far-right. We oppose racism for the same reason we oppose genocide: we believe in the equal value of all human life.

#Scotland — The tifo displayed by Celtic FC supporters during the Hearts championship match. And of course, Palestinian and Irish flags could also be seen in the stands.

Tomorrow's Unite the Kingdom rally is a hate march masquerading as patriotism. And at the centre of receiving this hate are millions of British Muslims. Revolting to see this in the city I live in, London.

@TheRealJamieKay I wonder how many times the phrase 'I'm not racist but...' is used today on a certain march in London.
