Another monumental week for the @CantonNetwork ecosystem, with this week poised to be even bigger. Here’s what you may have missed… (1) Canton keeps up the pace, with $56.77M worth of fees generated in the last 30 days alone, per DefiLlama data. (2) The @CantonFdn’s official development fund has now allocated a total of 31.8M $CC to fund and foster development within the ecosystem, per Canton News. (3) Cantor8 completes a successful smart contract audit with @HalbornSecurity, focused on smart contracts around its asset issuance engine, The C8 Registry. (4) @Grayscale’s Head of Research flags Canton Network as one of few blockchains “best positioned to capitalize on the growth in tokenization”. Incoming… (i) @OKX’ @OKCoinJapan to list Canton’s $CC, starting on July 15, expanding access in Asia. (ii) @The_DTCC to officially launch its tokenisation service on Canton on July 13, bringing the first full blockchain-based trading of DTC-custodied US Treasury securities. (iii) @CantonStrategic to host its Q2 Canton Network Ecosystem Webinar on July 22.

Every "subnet" on Canton will soon burn CC and earn rewards. I kind of regret using the term subnet though - they're all part of one @CantonNetwork, with one economy and one coin. Just like we have one Internet. CIP draft coming for comment in September. I believe we can roll this out in phases across H1 2027.
