I recently posted on Facebook about the misconduct and abuse of power by a Turkish individual named Turhan, who is the manager of @TurkishAirlines in Somalia. Within just seven hours, my post went viral, attracting over a thousand comments from people sharing similar experiences of missing flights due to his actions, including ministers, MPs, Somali diplomats and other citizens. I had a particularly negative encounter with him in June this year when he attempted to deny us boarding after we confronted him about his behavior. Ultimately, the airport manager and the chief of police intervened, allowing us to board. They informed us that many similar complaints have been lodged against him for his continuous misconduct. Many Somalis are questioning whether this is a reflection of @TurkishAirlines' policy. Turhan’s arrogance does not represent the values of Turkish Airlines, and we urge the airline to remove him immediately. It's important for @TurkishAirlines to be aware that there are competitive options in the market offering better and cheaper connections globally. Thank you. Cc: @TC_MogadisuBE

Mothers shouldn’t have to sleep outside to get a NIRA card. This is a failure in service delivery. Expand hours, hire staff, open more centers. Treat people with dignity. @NIRASomalia
