A U.S. federal jury has convicted Antoine Kassis, cousin of Bashar al-Assad, of narco-terrorism conspiracy for plotting to trade Assad regime weapons for 500 kilograms of Colombian cocaine, with ties to Hezbollah, the Sinaloa Cartel, and the ELN terrorist organization.
SETF Executive Director @soccermouaz called the conviction a significant step: "For someone that senior to have been arrested and put on trial is a huge deal."

#Syria A scene reflecting readiness and discipline: the Syrian Interior Ministry has deployed widespread security for Easter to protect churches and ensure the safety of celebrants. Of course, anti-Syria propaganda turns a blind eye to this.

On this solemn day, we remember the six million Jewish men, women, and children who were systematically and senselessly murdered during the Holocaust and honour the heroes who fought against its horrors.

Driven by advocacy from B’nai Brith Canada and the voices of countless engaged residents, the City of Brampton has rejected the “Apartheid Free Communities” pledge.
While we welcome this decision, the fact that this proposal was considered at all is deeply problematic: Why are our municipal leaders willing to entertain misleading, disingenuous campaigns that are inherently polarizing, exclusionary, and that target Jewish members of the community?
Why are they choosing to inject international geopolitical conflicts into local governance instead of focusing on the needs of the residents who rely on them?
That standard is unacceptable, and it cannot become normalized.
Let what happened in Brampton serve as a lesson for all municipalities across Canada:
Reject division. Choose unity.
Thank you to everyone who took action, spoke out, and made their voices heard.

Toronto Police are to be commended for their excellent work in swiftly identifying and arresting a suspect in connection with the shooting at a Jewish-owned restaurant on Avenue Road.
Visible enforcement and timely action are essential to maintaining public confidence and deterring further incidents at the same time, this must be part of a broader and sustained approach.
There is a clear expectation that further progress will follow, including charges being laid against those responsible for the recent shootings targeting synagogues. These incidents cannot remain unresolved.
Toronto's Jewish community is looking for consistent enforcement, accountability, and a proactive response that addresses the full scope of what has been taking place.

David Schwimmer is speaking out after the cancellation of Wireless Festival, calling out the decision to book Ye as this year’s headliner. In a lengthy statement, the actor praised brands like Pepsi, PayPal and Diageo for pulling their support, while criticizing organizers for giving a platform to someone he says has a history of harmful rhetoric.
Schwimmer also questioned fellow artists and collaborators — including Lauryn Hill, Travis Scott and Don Toliver — for continuing to align with Ye, arguing that apologies alone aren’t enough without meaningful action.
The festival was ultimately scrapped after U.K. officials blocked Ye from entering the country, bringing the controversy to a close, at least for now, while the larger conversation around accountability and redemption continues.

Leftists said absolutely nothing when the IRGC did this to Syria. Soleymani and his goons killed 500000 Syrians.

Thank you @TorontoPolice for your work on this case. This matters:
